Dr El Nakeebholds a BSc, MSc and Ph.D. in economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. He is currently Assistant Professor of Economics, Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Sadat Academy. He worked as economic advisor to the People's Assembly, Economic Committee (2001-2005), during which he participated actively in the study and analysis of the drafts of economic proposed laws, the Egyptian multilateral and bilateral development agreements and the committee’s reply for government statement. During 2005-2015 Dr. El Nakeeb worked as economic advisor the secretary general of Egyptian cabinet of ministers; his duties were study, assess and recommend the economic policies and programs related to the macroeconomic issues in Egypt, the economic environment, the competitiveness of Egyptian economy globally, the efficiency of monetary and fiscal policy, SMEs, improve the Egyptian trade policy to comply with international rules, standards and commitments and the competitiveness of the Egyptian industry. From 2008 to 2011 he was the scientific coordinator of the project of "Food subsidy Supply Chain Reform in Egypt", Ministry of Social Solidarity, conducted the project in collaboration with World Food Program. He also worked as economic expert (free-lance) to UNHAITAT and GOPP in the economic development strategies of the cities and regions locally and regionally. Finally, he prepared comprehensive feasibility studies for many private sector projects.
